1. Booking Conditions
Please read and understand the conditions of booking set out below prior to booking a Retreat with Ompulence Retreat. We recommend that you also read the Retreat descriptions relating to this Retreat prior to booking to ensure that you understand the itinerary and style of the Retreat you are undertaking.
2. Our Contract
All bookings are made with the retreat leader of this event (Carol Cheong Wai Mun). By booking an event with us you are deemed to have agreed to the booking conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between you and us) and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis.
3. Deposit Requirement
and Early Bird Fee Payment
You are required to make a deposit and balance payment of your retreat for your booking to be confirmed.
(If your booking is made after 15th April 2019, then the full amount is payable
at the time of booking.)
To enjoy the early bird rate, you are required to pay S$690 or US$508 estimated (by 31st Mar 2019) and the balance amount by 15th June 2019.
4. Acceptance of Booking and Final Payments
Acceptance of your Retreat booking will be confirmed by us in writing (via email). Payment of the balance of the Retreat fee is due on 15th June 2019. If this balance is not paid on or before the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.
In the event that the participant decides to downgrade their accommodation after payment been paid, the participant will not be entitled to any refund. If the participant wishes to upgrade, the new price will apply.
5. Your Details
In order for us to confirm your Retreat arrangements you must provide all requested details with the balance of the Retreat fee. Necessary details include full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry date (if you are an International visitor to Bhutan) and any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete the Retreat and travel arrangements.
6. Cancellation by You
If you cancel the workshop after making a booking you will not be receiving any refund. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. However, your booking is transferable (only if we are able to complete the visa application and also rebook the flight of the new participant.)
If you cancel a trip:
a. before 15th April 2019, we will retain the deposit and 30% of
the total booking cost if you had paid in advance.
b. between 15th April – 15th May 2019, we will retain 50% of the total booking cost
c. After 15th May 2019, we will retain 100% paid by you in connection with the booking.
7. Cancellation by Ompulence Retreat
We may cancel a Retreat at any time prior to departure, due to unforeseen and unavoidable events such as terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel a Retreat due to the above unforeseen circumstances, you can choose an alternative trip equivalent to the amount paid. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as accommodation arrangements and flights.
The Retreat fee includes:
a. accommodations in Yamanashi;
b. meals (Brunch and dinner);
d. yoga retreat activities as indicated on the website; and
The Retreat fee does not include:
a. meals other than those specified in program;
b. travel insurance; and
c. optional activities, spa services, other sightseeing not indicated on the website
and all personal expenses.
A minimum age of 16 applies
11. Group Size
Our Retreat is guaranteed to depart once we have 8 fully-paid participants. We only take in a maximum of 18 participants for this Retreat.
12. Passport and Visas
Please ensure that you carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits, and certificates for your stay in Indonesia.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the duration of the Retreat. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits, and certificates for your stay in Japan.
13. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is highly recommended for all Yoga Retreats.
14. Change of Itinerary
While we endeavor to operate all Retreats as described in the website we reserve the right to change the Retreat itinerary. Please refer to our website before departure for the most recent updates to your itinerary.
15. Authority on Event
The participant shall not use the property except for permitted use and shall not use the property for any offensive, noisy, dangerous, illegal, entertainment, immoral or improper purposes. The participant shall not do anything which may be a nuisance or annoyance to the event and its guests, staff or owners. If you fail to comply, the event leaders (instructors) may require you to leave the event immediately with no refunds.
The participant shall keep all the hotels’ fixtures, fittings, furnitures, and effects in a clean and good condition and shall replace any articles which are destroyed or missing with articles of a similar kind and equal value.
16. Acceptance of Risk
You acknowledge that the nature of the event is physical and participation involves a degree of personal risk. You will be participating in yoga activities that may challenge the body physically and mentally. It is your own responsibility to inform instructors of any previous injuries and that you do not force yourself into a pose that may put stress in your body. You acknowledge that your decision to participate in a Yoga event is made in light of consideration of this information and you accept that you assume the personal risks attendant upon such participation.
Participant must ensure that he/she is medically and physically fit and able to use the event facilities and participate in activities. Participants who have injuries or illnesses are advised to seek doctor’s advice before practising yoga and visiting Bhutan. The yoga instructors of this event are not liable for any injuries to the participant in his/her use of the facilities or participation in activities. A participant must always stop and rest if he/she is feeling any pain or sickness.
The yoga instructors of this event cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the participant. In the event of a participant having any complaint, he/she shall not discuss this with any third party and shall notify the instructors as soon as possible. This allows the instructors to resolve the problem amicably.
The instructors of this event shall not be liable for any failure beyond its control. This covers natural disaster, ‘acts of God’, closure of airports, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors.
The instructors of this event accept no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses which may be received during the participant’s stay or travelling to and from to Event Venue.
18. Optional Activities
Optional activities (excursions and sightseeing) not included in the Retreat fee do not form part of the Retreat or this contract. You accept that any assistance given by your instructors or local representative in arranging optional activities does not render the instructors of this Retreat liable for them.
19. Photos and Marketing
You consent to the instructors of this event in using images of you taken during the event for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.
The instructors of this event accept no responsibility for keeping the website up to date and will not be liable for any loss by its failure to do so. We are not responsible for the contents of any links displayed on our website.
21. Food Consumption, Alcohol and Tabacco
Alcohol and tobacco are prohibited within the event premises. During the event, we cannot cater to personal dietary preferences except the yogic-vegetarian meals. Absolutely no drugs are allowed.
Please respect silence at the Retreat premise after 10pm. Silence your mobile phone during your stay in the retreat.
23. Usage of Mobile Phones during retreat activities.
Please note that all mobile phone usage will be restricted during all yoga activities, including meal times. This is to create a relaxing and conducive environment for all mindfulness and meditation practices.
